Mead Senior High School
Class Of 1969

Saturday, September 21, 2019; 5pm, at Twigs North at Wandermere, 401 E Farwell Rd., Spokane.

NO RSVP NEEDED...(Read further info below):

For those hardy souls who feel like dancing (and can still bust a move without busting a bone), after the reunion breaks up, we'll meet for dancing at:

Fizzie Mulligan's

331 Hastings Road (not far from Twigs and the new Mead High School)

The music is put on by a DJ who takes requests (so no band to slaughter our old tunes--they'll be the originals) and Fizzie's will be saving us a few tables on the dance floor.

t The reunion at Twigs North Wandermere won't be fancy (although, if you haven't been there, their food, beverages and ambiance are absolutely lovely!). Casual attire.  And it will only COST YOU WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SPEND. NO RSVP. NO UPFRONT COSTS. If you simply order ice water, it won't cost you anything. (Administration HAS MAJOR issues with stupid-expensive reunions where you have to plan your entire life around them.)

In order to get our business, Twigs North has graciously offered to supply us servers in a private room that is even larger than what we had at the 40th reunion (at Twigs South). Servers will take your order for food/beverages WHENEVER YOU WANT (no waiting on some dumb program). You can, get this, actually sit with friends! :)

You will order off the regular restaurant menu. (No over-cooked pot roast for you, my friend!) YOU will pay the server individually or per couple just like in a, ahem, real restaurant. If you order a beverage, you'll pay that server per drink.  No tabs. Or some of you, for expediency sake, may opt to walk around to the bar and order straight from the bartender. You will pay them directly as well.  NOTE:  PLEASE TIP STAFF GENEROUSLY AS THEY ARE NOT CHARGING US FOR THE ROOM OR EXTRA SERVERS.

Sound simple? Yup. Hey, we are officially "Golden" (as in our golden years!). So let's celebrate "simple" and STILL being remotely-alive after a half century since we walked down that aisle with mortarboards on our heads. Yay, US!. At Twigs North at Wandermere, 5PM, Saturday, September 21, 2019.  SPREAD THE WORD TO CLASSMATES WHO DON'T "DO" THE INTERNET!

And then, after the reunion breaks up, those who want to can gather at Fizzie Mulligans bar and dance venue, 331 Hastings Road.  Bring your requests.  The DJ is said to be excellent.  And major accolades to the classmate(s) who can STILL do "the gator" dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bring it, Panthers!!!!!

PS:                                                                                                                                                                      FIND US ON FACEBOOK!  For quicker and more interactive communication, join us in a closed, private group on FB.  It's called Mead High School Class of 1969. Enter those exact words in the FB search box.  You must hit the "join" button to, um, join.  After that, any of your posts that you make to the group of some 70 or so classmates (and growing) are entirely private.  Yes, you'll see them on your timeline.  But your other FB "friends" will not be able to see them.  Don't get us wrong, we love this website.  But it does have its limitations.  Facebook bridges that.  So join us there as well. There's chit-chat.  Good natured bantering.  Personal photos. And sharing of memories.

AND DO KEEP US IN THE LOOP as our 50th reunion approaches soon! If you've moved or changed ANY of your personal info like phone number, address, e-mail, etc., DO change that data in our database by going to MEMBER FUNCTIONS (on the left yellow column) then to  BOTH Edit Contact Info and Edit Profile and update your info.  Once you change it, it's automatically changed in our Excel spreadsheets.  Now aren't YOU impressed?  :)

Welcome to the Mead Senior High Class Of 1969 web site.

We are now looking forward to our FIFTIETH class reunion in 2019!!! WTHeck!  How'd we get THIS old????

Anyway, below is a recap of our 40th reunion.  But looking ahead, you'll now learn that we've also added a private, closed group on Facebook called Mead High School Class of 1969 (so maybe we're not THAT old and UNcool?).

Please peruse THIS website's pages first (you'll find bio's and photos and info galore) and then, for the fun daily updates on what classmates are doing, join us on Facebook.  Your posts there are absolutely private (as they are on this website as well).  No one other than classmates in the Mead High School Class of 1969 closed, private FB group can see your posts on Facebook. Promise. See you there.  And here.  And, oh yeah, at that 50th reunion comin' up. (Cue the soundtrack for the movie, Jaws)

40th Class Reunion Recap: June 20, 2009, at Twigs Southhill was a HUGE success!  Some 140+ people attended  including two teachers, George Weishaar and Gordon Brunette with their spouses!  Photos of the reunion and a commentary by Ronna (Jones) Snyder are at the 2009 40th Reunion link in the menu to the left. The Panther Forum also contains "discussions" about the reunion and how it impacted classmates personally. If you were there, please DO add your comments. We have had several other gatherings since our 40th reunion.  You can view these by clicking on the links to the left.  If you missed the 40th, no worries.  You NOW have the 50th coming up!  Tick tock, tick tock.  (Cue more Jaws soundtrack. :)
