VAN GELDER, Donald B. (Age 63) Don passed away at Valley Hospital on July 28th, 2014, due to an ongoing heart condition, and was surrounded by his loving family. He was big brother to Rick Van Gelder and his sister, Denise Loehlein. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Van Gelder and survived by his mother, Dona Van Gelder Pedey and his wife, Julie. Don is also survived by his three precious sons, Jason, Chris and Michael; stepdaughters, Jamie and April and several grandchildren. He graduated from Mead High School in 1969 and worked in the printing industry for most of his life. He had the "gift of the gab" and was loved by all. He also loved hunting, bowling and golf and his precious dog, Keelyn. A celebration of life will be held at Bolo's, 116 S. Best Road, Spokane Valley on Friday, August 1st, 2014 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Don was a great guy, and a good friend! I especially remember the fun times we used to have when Don hosted Young Life at his place down on the Little Spokane River. My thoughts, prayers, and  condolences to Don's family. Anne
