A fellow Mead High School Class of 1969 has passed away. Deanna Carolyn (Smith) Timm was born February 15, 1951. I had the pleasure to know her in high school and early in our respective medical careers, we worked together. Not until the last year we had the chance for many lengthy conversations about our high school years and life experiences. Through this last year as she was battling a terminal illness, I was humbled by her grace and dignity. She was truly a special person and will be missed by her family and the many patients she served in her career as well as her close friends. Deanna passed away August 27, 2019, in the Longview, Washington area. She had a daughter and son and several grandchildren. The family had a small service. 

May she rest in peace and free from the hardships she endured this last year.
