Collect old time radio programs and have more 10,000 episodes.

Served in military 1969-1973 as a Russian linguist flying top secret missions throughout the Far East and SE Asian for the US Naval Security Group and National Security Agency. Met my wife Yuki in Japan and married in 1973. Our daughter Michi was born that year. Attended UW 1975-78 graduating Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude with BA Communications (Radio/Television emphasis). Got internship out of college at KOMO-TV (Seattle ABC affiliate). Worked at KOMO 1978-2003 as a producer/writer. Produced TOWN MEETING television show 1981-1992 along with numerous specials. Served as Executive Producer Special Projects at KOMO 1992-2003 in charge of all non-daily news specials and series. While at KOMO was honored with 10 Emmys and numerous other national and regional awards. Left KOMO in 2003 to form my own company, Storyteller Communications LLC. At Storyteller, I continue to produce major video and event projects and an occasional television broadcast. Recent events I've produced include: Seattle Children's Hospital's 100th anniversary Gala; Wings of Heroes Gala at Seattle's Museum of Flight in 2005 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Apollo 13 mission; Visions of Valor Gala in 2007 at the Museum of Flight to honor 25 Congressional Medal of Honor recipients. Am currently working on producing the 2009 Wings of Heroes Gala for the Museum of Flight to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. We've been honored with an unprecedented three Silver Telly awards in the category of Live Events in international competition in three of the last four years. In addition to producing television specials, video projects and events, I also do Strategic Storytelling consulting/coaching for clients in various parts of North America. I am incredibly blessed to do work I love using the gifts I've been given. Our daughter Michi works as an Administrative Supervisor for the Washington State Attorney General's Office in Seattle. My wife Yuki and I live outside of Snohomish on a half-acre and share our home with a lot of different animals including two large German Shepherds.

I'm afraid those brain cells are dormant. No worthwhile recollections.
