High School Activites: Mead Band-drums

After graduation, Bob worked in his parents tavern "Mac's" in Mead and eventually took over ownership and operated it for many years with his companion of 22 years, Rose Winkler.  The tavern was closed in 1998.  He was an avid sportsman and very active in outdoor activities, especially snowmobiling and was the trail groomer for Mt. Spokane and Pend Oreille county for 25 years.

Bob had five children and four grandchildren.

At the age of 54, after a year long battle with cancer, Bob passed away on June 21, 2005
