Erik Clement Morris

Mead HS '69 Comment: "I would live the same life over again, if I had to live again."

Erik, age 61, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, in Saginaw, Michigan. Eric was the adopted son of the late Raleigh P. & Carmen C. (Gardner) Morris. 

Erik enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1970 and served in Vietnam. He was awarded two Purple Hearts. 

Erik was united in marriage with the former Theresa M. Adams on January 25, 2006, in Caro, Michigan. They attended the Dayton Center Church. Erik enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to flea markets, fishing, and collecting fishing equipment, fossil rocks, knives, and swords.

Erik was survived by his wife, Theresa M. Morris of Marlette; one son, Raleigh Morris living in Montana; five step-daughters, Nicole Robinson & her husband, Shannon of Deford MI; Tiffany Adams of Silverwood MI; Johna Adams of Marlette MI; Bobbie Adams of Marlette MI; Della Brown & her husband, Stephen of Marlette MI; and six grandchildren.

Per his wishes, Erik was cremated and a memorial service with military honors was held.
