Whatcha been doin' since '69:

I went to SCC and took up Medical Secretary. And was married in 1971 to Guy Rand from Mead. We traveled alot in the AF...to CA, AK, ND, and then WA...and eventually divorced. I worked at Alyeska Pipeline in Anchorage, AK.. It was normal to see moose across the street!
I moved to Colville and got a few jobs. I was in the Sweet Adelines there. That was fun.
Met Jim and he and I have lived in Spokane for years. Our kids are grown. He's retired from Sacred Heart--was an electrician and boiler operator. We've been married 17 years.
We have a sweet cat(who thinks she's the queen of the house.) And probly is!
There are a couple real good guys that follow the Lord's word that are renting rooms downstairs.

There were many- Stuart Shawen and I try to keep in touch since most of the good friends have passed on. (Linda Smith, Vicki Steuve, Alice Wheeler).

What's your biggest regret from your years at Mead High School?

I love those days when everybody didn't get all bent out of shape over nothing!

Teacher who made the greatest impact on you.

Mrs. Brookhart-she didn't have a problem keeping control of the class and got her message across in a very timely manner.

Hi Julie! Just wanted to let you know how great it will be when we can visit at the reunion. Our kids are grown & gone but we still have the old cat (who wants to be fed!)
