Bender, Mary Coy- Passed away December 12, 1988.  Survived by her mother, Marilee Bender and father, Fred Bender, both of Spokane; five brothers, Tom, Laural, Bill, Tim and Mike Bender; sisters, Ann Bender and Kay McDonald all of Spokane; numerous aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and cousins.  Member of the community for 33 years, St Thomas More Catholic Church, Eagles Aerie #2.  Student of Kinman Business University.  Funeral service, Friday, December 16, 1988 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More, N. 8112 Howard.  Rev. Arnold Schoffeimeer officiating.  Internment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, N. 2203 N. Division St. in charge of arrangements.

Anne Durham (Grun)

I didn't get to know Coy until later in my years at MHS (not exactly sure of the year), but I do remember we had a ton of fun in Mabel's class. She had a great sense of humor! I was just looking through my annual and found her note. Ironically, she wrote, "Ann I probably will never see you again, but I always will remember you." And we never did see each other again, but I do fondly remember her. Anne Durham Grun
